Other activities in the field…
During my fieldwork in Jordan I have also been taking some time to re-visit some of the sites in downtown Amman, the Roman theatre and the Jordan Museum (https://jordanmuseum.jo/en). We also visited Mamdoah Bisharat at his farm and house (Umm Al Kundum) just outside Amman. It has been a long and wet spring in Jordan, with the weather only recently getting warm. This has resulted in the landscapes in Jordan being extremely luscious, and the vegetation growing to an amazing height which I have not ever seen before in Jordan.
